Homemade coffee body lotion

Who do not like coffee?!?!?
or at least the smell of fresh brewed coffee, or sweet cappuccino 🙂

Who do not like body lotions?

Who would say “no” to both the “body lotion and fresh smell of coffee” in one ?

Hm… Ok, I know some people, but I think they are weird 😉

This is my creation using a base of Hirono’s recipe

Ah… and my very original body lotion jar:

There is a small difference in my recipe…
Instead of only water I used 1 1/2 cups of fresh brewed coffee.
After you mix the oil, wax and coffee you shouldn’t leave it for a night because the water will separate from the rest of the body lotion, and you will get water on the bottom, and big chunky piece of oily something on the top. We don’t want that!

It’s better when you are able to stir the mixture every 5 minutes until it gets cold. That’s all what you need to make AMAZING COFFEE BODY LOTION.

I added a 10 drops of grapefruit essential oil, and 10 drops of sweet orange essential oil. You do not have to do that because this body lotion smells like cappuccino itself.
…with or without essential oils the body lotion is amazing!

CAN’T WAIT TO USE IT!!!

Your photos are always wonderful and I love your stories that go along with them. Can’t wait to hear how the body cream works out.
