Photo Art Friday on Thursday, and ALL my kids (minus No.4 – the husband)

I’ll try to make this post very short today.
Simply because No.1 just went down for her nap and I am able to become a couch potato for an hour or two.

Starting with my submission for Photo Art Friday:

because Bath-Time-Fun is not for kids ONLY

Following with some shots or my darlings who drive me crazy lately.

Finishing with No.3 (I call her My Special Needs Child  – the one with ADHD).
A few week ago she had a professional photo session with Black Newf Photography (click the link for some awesome shots).
This dog is a separate topic I am getting ready to write about (but not yet). I am waiting for the right mood to do so. Believe me or not, it is a hard topic for me to talk about. Not having two very young children but this dog is the main reason I get up at 6:30/7 am every morning. She is the cause of my weight going down. While those two are relatively good things the third one is not -she is the main reason of my new grey hair, a lot of them!

But I don’t want to go that road today…

Have a wonderful weekend, my friends!

365 Self-Portrait Project (week 30th)

Short intro to this post:

Our No.1 is in the “terrible two” stage and she looks just like that:

Day and Night.

No. 2, even though she looks very happy and content here:

isn’t any better, actually.

Mornings are the best for us.  She is mostly happy but when we get to about 12pm the fun part begins. The only way to make her happy is to put boob in her mouth. It works every single time. It means she is tied to me for the rest of the day, till about 11pm when she finally falls asleep for more than 30 minutes. And when she finally  goes to bed I lay in mine, and instead of sleeping, I just lay there… thinking…

Speaking about thinking; this project is getting harder and harder each week. I do want to keep it in this “family journal” theme but I’m running out of ideas. With each passing day in order to keep it interesting with not only feet, hands and from arm’s length face shots, I need to think more about what I’m going to do, and sometimes feet, hands and from arm’s length face shots are what I end up with 😉

Don’t judge one by ones patio 😉

It’s a mess and I struggle to find an extra energy to make it look nice.

I got a little creative here.

At first I had some troubles with the right focus but finally when I placed myself in the right spot it was nothing but relaxing fun 🙂

I desperately need a change.

I crave it like a dry plant water… .

I should star with a new hair cut, I guess.

One of those “arm’s length” shots.

My morning shot of energy. Physical, as well as mental energy. Too bad I can’t drink more than one cup.

Who would like to breastfeed for me, so I could drink more than 2… hm… 3… hmm… 3 1/2 cups of my dear ambrosia… ?!!!

Anybody?!!! Pleeeaaaaaseeee!

trying to create something totally different I ended up with this .gif . Not really what I had in my mind but it’ll do for now.

Photo Art Friday365/210

That’s exactly how I feel!- Like I am going crazy!

btw, who knows a good way to get rid of dark circles under eyes… ?

Oh… wait… I know one. It is called “sleep”.

Hope you guys are feeling more sane than I am.

365 Self-Portrait Project (week 18)

I’m writing this post being not in my twenties anymore. One day I woke up feeling 30 and that was it. As my friend says: “Life begins after 30” 😉

I think my life have really started when I had my first baby.

Before that it was just preparing, tasting, seeking… .

These days my life flies by and I don’t know when and how. It’s crazy:

… and this picture is the evidence for that 😉

Those pictures were taken on the run. The one with my reflection was literally taken on the run. I started the day thinking how great self-portraits I’m going to take at the Mystery Spot in Santa Cruz (it’s a link to a few pictures and a short story from our trip) where we were going but not knowing the life with two small kids that well I overestimated it and there was no way for me to just relax and have at least 5 minutes for myself up there. Our screaming and throwing tantrums No 1 focused all the attention on her. Not only my attention but all the people who were around us trying to enjoy their tour.

It might look a little confusing with the first picture in which I’m breastfeeding her… .

I bottle-feed her as well… .

She is not a very good eater. She still sleeps a lot and the only way for me not to loose my milk supplies and for her to get enough milk is pumping and bottle-feeding her in between breastfeeding. [sigh!]

At least this time I have an electric pump not manual like with my No 1. I HATED IT!!!

So at the same time I was feeding No 2, No 1 was having her breakfast and I was trying to eat mine while going through the pictures for this post.

She is the most happiest baby while sleeping on me or her dad. No matter how uncomfortable her position looks she doesn’t care.

You think this was comfortable?:

I don’t 😉

…and again.. day with the Little One on my arms. Sleeping.

Out of the dish washer detergent 🙂

whole wheat blueberry-banana pancakes for breakfast. It’s all seems like a quiet morning but just for your notice I took this picture about 20 minutes ago (11:20am) and after that I put away that fork and gobbled down a few of those like I didn’t eat for a week. There is no time to enjoy food these days 😉

My head is spinning today and the only thing I think of is to go for a long walk. Just me and my camera.

… or to sit and cry! Cry the hell out of me…

Oh NO, wait… the first thing I think about is a SHOWER!!! I wish I could take a long, hot shower, than I wish I could sit and cry the hell out of me… and then clean on my body and soul go for a long lonely walk.

How does that sound… for me it sounds like a wishful thinking… .

365 Self-portrait Project (week 12)

I’m so happy that despite all those problems I had last week I made it to this week and the project is still up and running 🙂

Shots from this week are not really good. They are dark and grainy and I wasn’t very inspired in general. My contractions decreased around Monday, mostly because I stopped doing almost everything. Since then most of my time I spent on the sofa watching tv, reading a book and playing with my almost forgotten old photos because I didn’t have anything new (only my self-portraits) to play with… ah and in the meantime I wrote something for World Moms Blog. Post is up today: “From Picky Eater to Spinach Smoothie Enthusiast”. Feel free to stop by and grab a recipe for a delicious spinach smoothie!

Saturday I was playing with my reflections in the ovens’ door and my daughter joined along 🙂 She loves when somebody sits on the floor. She gets very excited when that happens.

Lady Big it should say 😉

As I said… Most of the time I’m on the sofa. Here, I’m reading Terry Pratchett’s book. I forgot how I love this guy but now I got a few of his books that I haven’t read and I’m all set for my bed rest.

After we came back from the doctor’s appointment where I was introduced to not so satisfying news. My doctor said she wants to keep me pregnant as long as 39 weeks despite those contractions. She just said that in case if they get really bad and regular I have to go to the hospital and most likely I will have that baby delivered. As of today I have just a few contractions during the entire day and they are not very painful. It looks like the baby will come on scheduled time. Good for her but not very comfortable for me.

Reading my cook book I won from The Country Cook giveaway more than a month ago. I was so happy I won it! It’s actually pretty good with many great recipes. So far I made only one dish but it’s because I haven’t been feeling very creative in the kitchen lately.

Starting my day with a pill for heartburn. Each day, every day 🙂

Today after my morning routine I saw my daughter playing with a tripod so I joined her.

There is a photographer’s soul growing inside her.

Have a great weekend, my friends. I’m getting back to my book 🙂

I’m wordless, lately.

I’m feeling like crap.

I’m not into taking pictures.

I’m actually not into anything.

Last Saturday at night-time I almost had a heart attack.

I’m planning to take a little break from blogging. Maybe for a week, or two. Maybe tomorrow I’ll change my mind. Who knows. As for today, I’m posting my last pictures.

So, see you around my friends. Stay safe and be happy. I will be back. Just need to wrap my head around a few things 🙂

joining virtual coffee because the real one tastes like crap these days

…btw, I hate pink!

I really don’t like pink. Every time there is photo challenge calling for pink I skip it.  Yesterday I’ve decided to face my ghosts. So here I am… Thinking Pink!

First I didn’t want to use this photo but when I saw my daughter’s face I just couldn’t not to. 😉

I wasn’t sure if I wanted to use one of those pictures, as well, but after I did some cloning it looked much better. Despite that I do not like pink, I really like purple! It’s kinda weird, I guess. Purple is close to pink. Right?

Scavenger Hunt Sunday

Today’s items  for Scavenger Hunt Sunday are:

1. Music to my ears.

Every morning our sprinklers are turn on and I can hear them from our apartment. I love that sound because it reminds me that it’s Summer, and that it’s morning and it’s time to start the day 🙂

After a while, when I go outside there is plenty of droplets on every single plant. It’s great!

2. Hat

Pretty soon there will be blog post about hats and only hats. Blue, and brown, yellow and green… Hats Hats Hats. Crochet Hats.

3. Clear

Our swimming pool, and clear water!

4. Out of this World

Succulent and a little bit of editing! 🙂

5. Sprinkles

I do not have any sprinkles or anything that’s similar to it, but I thought I use that shot of rolled pieces of newspaper. It kind of look like sprinkles (only huge ones). Right!? :/   (lol)

Have a great Sunday!

Wordish Tuesday :O Wednesday

This post has changes since it was published for the first time. The first title was Wordless Wednesday even though it was still Tuesday. Than I saw that it’s actually not so Wordless but not much Wordish either.

Just confused these days more that usuall :-/

Our daughter eats more and more “normal” food lately. Can you belive that she eats more than I do?!

We went to IHop, and she ate half of my plate. She didn’t look full though… I know if I had more to give to her she would have  vacuumed it all.

and two of my latest textures twists:

and Linking up with Crissy for Wordless Wednesday, though mine is not so Wordless.

Museum Model

… and it’s exactly what that is! A museum model made by this young lady whose umbrella (and not only ;-)) you can admire @Inspiration Studio. My picture of her was futured in there a few days ago. I didn’t know about that untill yesterday!

What a great surprise!!!

I am flattered – Thank You, Jamie!

Anyway this is my picture for Kim Klassen Texture Tuesdays.

And please, don’t ask me how many layers of this texture I used here… Too many, I guess! I lost track after 3rd 😉

And extra few shots so you can see what this model looked like actually!

Pretty cool!

Black&White with some texture is the new blue…

… feeling blue, actually.

That is how we have all been feeling for the last few days… .

And this is how our daughter is sleeping lately – on her mamma 🙂

Self-portrait (kind of)

Looking very comfy. Don’t you think?! 🙂

Sleeping-portrait (totally)

Trying to drink a bottle laying on her belly… I’ll tell you… It doesn’t work. She is figuring it out… Still. 🙂

Drinking a bottle-portrait

Have a good and sound Sunday everybody. I wish we were done with running and sneezing noses, coughing throats, watering eyes, sleepless nights and all of that… .

Hoping you are all feeling better than us!
